English Name: Sakura Avalon
Japanese Name: Sakura Kinomoto
Sakura was a normal ten-year-old girl in fourth grade. She loved gym, hated math, had best friends, she had a very normal life up until she visited a library one day. She found a book called 'The Clow', opened it, and found some weird cards inside. She read the first cards name which was listed at the bottom, and all the cards flew out. What Sakura had just done was released the legendary Clow Cards. She then was granted a gaurdian named Kero who told her she had to collect all the Clow Cards that she released. From then on she collected the Clow Cards but, couldn't tell anyone of their existance besides her friend that already knew. |
English Name: Li Showron
Japanese Name: Syaoran Li
Li is a boy in Sakura's school who at first hated her because she got the privlage of captuing the Clow Cards. Li thought he was better for the job because he was Clow Reed's direct decendent (The creator of the Clow Cards). He was taught his magic skills at a very young age so he could sense that Sakura was collecting the Clow Cards. He tries to collect the cards too but, Sakura always beats him to them. Eventually, he learns to like Sakura more and helps her collect the cards.

English Name: Madison Taylor
Japanese Name: Tomoyo Daidouji
Madison is Sakura's friend who knows about the Clow Cards. She tapes Sakura's adventures when she captures the cards. She also makes Sakura's outfits for captures. In the manga she has somewhat of a secret crush on Sakura but, I'm not too sure about that. |
Name: Meilin Li
Meilin is Li's cousin who is a transfer student from Hong Kong. She hates Sakura because she always hangs out with Li. She thinks that he is too good for Sakura and will do anything to spend more time with Li so that Sakura can't. By doing this, it seem that she actually has a crush on him but, in fact she is just trying to protect Li. She also knows about the Clow Cards and tries to help Li try to capture them. She doesn't have magic skills like Li but is very talented in gymnastics, and martail arts. Sakura and every one else thinks she is a nuisance and gets in the way when trying to capture cards but, she proved herself by helping Sakura capture The Fight.

Name: Kero/Keroberos
Kero is Sakura's gaurdian for collecting the Clow Cards. He loves to eat and snack on all Sakura's food. The downfall is that he has to stay in Sakura's room so whenever someone comes in, he has to prentend he is a stuffed animal. When Sakura collects enough Clow Cards, he turns into Keroberos. |
English Name: Tori Avalon
Japanese Name: Touya Kinomoto
Touya is Sakura's older brother in 11th grade. He doesn't know she is a Cardcaptor and loves to torment her all he can. Even though he plays it tough, he would do anything for Sakura. He has some very VERY weird relationship going on with Yukito...... but..... that's only in the manga. So there is a lot of yaoi in Card Captor Sakura.

English Name: Julian Star
Japanese Name: Yukito Tsukishiro
Yukito is actually Yue.... just to put it straight. Yukito is Yue's human form but, neither Yue or Yukito know that. Yukito and Touya have some relationship going on but, I haven't read the manga so, I don't know all the details. Basically all i know is they are more than just friends. Yukito has a deep love for any food and thinks Sakura and all her little friends are so cute. Since everyone has a crush on Yukito including Touya, Sakura, and Li, he plays it friendly. |
Name: Yue
Yue is the second guardian of The Clow. He is Yukito.. as I already said but, neither him or Yukito know they are two people. Yue was assigned to keep a close watch on Sakura's adventures and, when Sakura collected all the Clow Cards, Yue had to test Sakura to see if she was strong enough to be considered a Master of the Clow.

Japanese Name: Akizuki Nakuru
Nakuru was a transfer student that moved into Sakura's brother Touya's school. When she moved into 11th grade with him, she immeadiately grew a crush on him. Nakuru was always trying to flirt with Touya but, her was always hanging out with Yukito. So, her solution was to make fun or Yukito and call him names. |

Name: Ruby Moon
Ruby Moon is Nakuru.... it's like the Yukito and Yue thing. Ruby Moon's master is Eriol and she watches over him well. She lives with Eriol like Kero does with Sakura with Spinel Sun.
